This was a college bowl game between a team that had one win in its two previous seasons against a team with a 5-7 record. The Cure Bowl is also one of the new games this year.
I watched a live quarter. There were few people in the stands. It was for a good cause.
There was a sequence of plays in the first quarter that had three consecutive plays with injuries. I don't think I've seen that before.
I did not come back for any of the other quarters.

Game notes:
-Bowl swag, pretty weak. Nike pullover; flexfit, flat bill cap; watch; Tervis tumbler; commemorative metal ticket; chill towel; key chain. I doubt anyone was saving their ticket from this game, let alone having a metallic version of it. And key chain, really, a key chain?
-The game MVP was SJSU quarterback Kenny Potter.
It's not often your team wins its bowl game and still finishes with a losing record. Go Spartans!
